  • Thanksgiving

We Pets want to wish one and all a very Happy thanksgiving!
  • Thanksgiving

Well Pet Friends and Friends of Pets,  the big Feastie Day is almost here!  My whole Pet Family is gearing up their appitites for all the table scrapes that we can consume, without making ourselves sick....except for Sam the Shepherd.  He will eat himself into a frenzie and puke when he gets done.  It's a ritual for him.  Then he will wait a while and come back for more!  Momma won't feed us off the table.  She can be a Meanie at times, saying it isn't good for us, when we are smart enough to know what is good when we taste it!  Poppa, on the other hand, will sneak us tidbits faster than he can shovel food into his own mouth, all the while Momma is giving him that "LOOK", which means you better stop or else!  Poppa deliberately does not glance her way, wisely avoiding that "LOOK".  This grand event only happens on Holidays.  We usually have to settle for our Royal Canin Dog Food, which is tasty in itself, but nothing like the Feastie Day!  We each have our favorite thing about the Feast, but the turkey rules the roost....heeheehee....just a little humor there....on the Big Day.  The mashed potatoes and gravy and some stuffin' ties for second place.  We Pets will eat a few green beans, to let you know that we do eat our veggies!  Then everyone of us heads for our favorite nap time spot to let our tummies digest the yummy feast, then later, we all go back for more!  There is nothing quite as wonderful as Feastie Day.  Also we know it is a day to be thankful for what we have, so we spend time contemplating those things.  We Pets are all very thankful for our Momma and Poppa who take such great care of all of us critters, and we are thankful for everything we have, food, shelter, and especially all our Pet Friends out there!  So with this, we want to wish each and everyone of  you a Happy, Safe, and Wonderful Thanksgiving!

    Love from,

  • A Message from Benji

    Hey there....Benji here,
Hello my Pet Family, and of course, Momma and Poppa!  I wanted to stop by and leave a message for all of you back home.  I am very happy here over the Rainbow Bridge.  It is so beautiful here and there are so many wonderful playmates of every kind imaginable!  There is never a dark cloud or a day when we can't go out to romp and play.  I have met Keno, Bunny, Tito, Mandy, Christopher, and so many others that were  Pet friends of mine and went on before me.  Momma, I  hope you are not still sad about me leaving so soon  but it was my time to go.  You would be so happy if you could just see the green hillsides and gorgeous mountain tops, and the open meadows that go on forever.  There are magnificent waterfalls and cool, still lakes full of the little fishys that came here to live forever.  Please smile and be happy for me.

I remember when you used to brush my thick, silky fur coat....and how I would wiggle and squirm, sometimes giving you a growl or a snip.  Well, I sure am sorry that I was such an un-managable critter for you, but the good news is that I NEVER have to be brushed anymore!  I am just always beautiful with no effort here!  Remember all the little scrapes that Sam, the german shepherd and I would get into, and you punished Sam because I always looked so sweet and innocent?  Confession time here....I started most of the trouble....yes, it was little me, the sneaky one!  So, I just wanted to tell him that I guess I am sorry about that....I suppose I had better say that, because one of these days he will be here with me and I know pay backs can be hell!  Oops....sorry, I shouldn't use that word here in the Rainbow Bridge....they do have rules and regulations here, too.  Tell my blood-sister, Keesie, that I really do love and miss her a lot and I know she suffered most of all when I left, But I will be seeing her here, some day, too, and we will snuggle and play just like old times again.  I think often of Sophie and EVEN those cat siblings of mine.  I know  Momma, that you will take good care of them.

And Momma, there is just one more thing,  I have been keeping a close eye on you and Poppa and I know that Poppa is not doing all that great right now.  Just keep on taking the best care of him that you know how to do and everything will be all right.  But Momma, please take good care of you, too, because no matter how much I love and miss you both, I would rather look down on you guys than have you up here with me right now.  You might interfere with all my freedom and playtime if you were here right now, and I am sowing all the wild oats that I can get away with here.  Well , Momma, I have to go right now because the other pups here are getting up a game of  frisby, and you KNOW that I am the King of the Frisby!   Just remember how much I love you and Poppa and think happy thoughts.  I will be checking in with you again one day soon.  Woof woof!
Lots of Love and Puppy Kisses,
    Benji
